As mentioned in the discussion of the Transition phase, this is the process where the changes made during the SLR project are “polished” by the client’s internal staff. It is an ongoing business process that makes subtle refinements over time to the changes rolled out earlier.
Over time this business process will generate ideas that cannot be done without a more exhaustive plan and preparation. These ideas are placed in the Idea Repository until the client decides that another SLR cycle is appropriate.
The diagrams shown here is a Six Sigma DMAIC cycle. It is here only to represent the client’s continuous improvement program. The technique actually used is the client’s decision.
