The simulation of business processes provides a key “what-if” feature to our methodology similar to what a spreadsheet provides to a financial analyst. Our simulator provides both Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Business Process Models (BPM). The VSM provides a look at where value is added and not added. By identifying the various forms of waste it is possible to establish what perfection would be without it. While perfection is not achievable, it provides the direction. The SLR methodology, the client’s team and StrAIT Advisors explore various scenarios to approach perfection as closely as possible.
